Tina Fey is your average, everyday super mom. Except, you know, she hosts the Golden Globes and all. Nevertheless, despite fame and fortune, Fey can juggle life, work, and kids with the best of ’em, and that makes her the real deal in our book.
As the face of the new American Express EveryDay credit card, Fey embodies the ultimate multitasking mama. She’s got places to go, people to see, and parenting dilemmas to solve. And that pretty much describes who the EveryDay card is for— the busy buyer on the go.
Unlike traditional credit card point programs, Amex EveryDay rewards members for how often they use their card, and not just how much they spend. Using the EveryDay card 20 or more times in a single billing period earns members 20% extra points on all those purchases.
In the commercial, which debuted during the Oscars, Fey racks up points getting manicures, buying groceries, dropping off her dry cleaning, and even ordering a full-body pillow online. These are her everyday expenses, daily must-haves, and “within arms reach” impulse buys (potpourri, anyone?). She’ll reap the reward, regardless of price tag, as long as she makes 20 total swipes in a billing period. And, seriously, who doesn’t order a full-body pillow (or 20!) every now and again?
